Watchung Girl Scout Splash
Join us at our Watchung Girl Scout Splash on Tuesday, August 31 from 4-7 pm at Brook Hill Swim Club.

Operation Shoebox NJ at the West Service Center - Start Collecting!
On Saturday, September 11th GSHNJ will hold another Packing event for Operation Shoebox NJ at the West Service Center. Last time we put together 501 care packages for military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Rally the Troops and start collecting items from the list below. We need enough of each item to put together the packages. We also invite you to come to the West Service Center (1171 Route 28 North Branch, NJ 08876) on September 11th and help pack packages. Your donations are greatly appreciated and time spent counts towards service time.
Please note that aerosol products cannot be shipped overseas. Also, all items must be in their original packaging. When in doubt, think small. It is easier to ship smaller packaged items than large, economy size.
· Lip balm · Sun block · Moist wipes · Bug spray - non-aerosol · Bars of soap · Small bottles of shampoo · Deodorant - non-aerosol · Powdered drink mixes · Cereal/Snack/Granola bars · Instant oatmeal - individual packets · Boxes of hot chocolate that contain individual packets · Small cans of tuna with pop-tops · Small cans of fruit with pop-tops · Microwave popcorn - individual bags can be sent · Athletic socks · Batteries - all sizes · Gum · Candy · Small boxes of cereal· Small bags of trail mix, peanuts, pretzels, etc.
